Recycling by using the provided curb side collection service is simple and happens right out side your home every 2 weeks, being a great way to further help our environment. How this helps is by reducing carbon emissions released into the air from vehicles whilst reducing traffic on our already busy roads. Another great benefit is the time saving factor as you only need to travel as far as the end of your own driveway. It is important to involve the whole household helping to insure good recycling practices within our youth whilst helping to ensure a cleaner greener future for many more generations to come.

At the Curb Side - Limits and Requirements.

There are no Residential bag quantity limits.
The Maximum bag weight limit is 18kg (40 lbs).
Your recyclables must be at the curb side by 7am ready for collection, for details on your collection dates view our area and zone schedules below.
Recyclables must be placed in a see-through plastic bag (Except Cardboard)
Cardboard MUST be Flattened into bundles no Larger than 90 cm x 60 cm x 30 cm (3 ft x 2 ft x 1 ft) & tied with string or rope.
Place the sorted recycling bags 1.5 metres (5 feet) away from your garbage at the curb.

Leaf & Yard Waste - Spring and Fall collections only

Each spring and fall your leaves, bundled branches and garden waste are collected at the curb. Find the leaf symbol on your area and zone schedule for your collection days.
Use clear plastic or Kraft (paper) bags ONLY for leaf and yard waste (no grass clippings). No bag limit.
Leaf and yard waste can be recycled year-round at the Landfill Site in the compost area.
Bundle branches or brush less than 1 metre (39 in.) long, and less than 61 cm (24 in.) in diameter, using string or rope.

Containers - Must be placed in a see-through plastic bag
