How wind turbine systems works.

• Wind turbines capture the winds energy by using their blades which rotate as the air (wind) passes over them. Once the blades are rotating the rotor shaft also rotates which is connected to a generator. The generator turns the rotational (kinetic) energy into electricity. This electricity can be used, stored for later use or fed into the main power grid.
